Hi, I’m Paul Franco Lo, founder of 01 Junk Removal.

My journey in the construction - demolition and labour industry started at 15 years old, spending weekends and school holidays on site with my dad. Those early experiences taught me the value of hard work and pride in doing a job properly.

As I got older, I realised there was a business side to the construction-demolition industry. That is what inspired me to study Quantity Surveying at AUT, which combines my hands-on experience with professional knowledge learnt in university.

In 2026, I founded 01 Junk Removal by combining years of hands-on experience with the skills and concepts I’ve gained through university to provide reliable rubbish removal and small demolition services across Auckland.

The name “01” also has a personal meaning. It’s my family name, “Lo” reversed. Way of respect to my dad, who introduced me to hard work and inspired the values this business is built on.

To us, 01 represents hard work, integrity and doing the job right the first time.

So whether it’s Junk Removal or Demolition ? “01 Will Get it Done !”
